Whiteville City Schools is committed to providing an appropriate education for all students.  This commitment is reflected in the district’s vision is to “Empower all students to reach their maximum potential for lifelong learning and productive citizenship.”  With this commitment in mind, the Gifted Education Program will strive to identify the truly gifted students in our schools utilizing appropriate assessment data to guide decisions for program and service delivery.  The ultimate goal of the AIG program is to honor excellence in all students, regardless of race, gender, economic status, or cultural background.
